Aren spent the next three days running around and completing quests. All quests he accepted were about collecting and harvesting some sort of item.
Now only one quest was left, and he was currently completing it. This last quest also proved to be the most troubling quest.
[Quest: collect the entire skeleton of Silverflame wolf in Ashenmoon Valley.]
He had to collect the entire skeleton of a Silverflame wolf. The Silverflame wolf was a rare wolf that would only be born once in a while in Ashenmoon valley. He had to spend three hours searching for it carefully in that valley before he finally found it, and to his bad luck, the Silverflame wolf was as powerful as the serpent he encountered on the Legendary mountain.
However, this valley was not as dangerous as the legendary mountain, which was a plus point.
*growl...*
[Silverflame Wolf]
-level: 35
-grade: S
-lifeform: Supreme-1
-bloodline: Mercury Wolf Lord.
-health: [23,120/23,120]
-defense: physical [3940] energy [2990] soul [350].
-attack: physical [8,100] flame [10,740]
-speed: 70 meters per second at full speed.
-skills: ??
-abilities: ??
-note: Weak against sharp water powers and other powers with high penetration characteristics.
Aren was just running around right now and was not attacking the wolf. However, the wolf was releasing condensed silver flame bullets by waving its tail that was on silver fire.
Aren was having a bit of trouble with those bullets because they were fast, and he was already hit by two bullets, causing a hole in his left shoulder and a part above the ankle on his right leg.
He barely suppressed himself from involuntarily crying out in pain and gritted his teeth as he drank health potions to relieve himself from the injury and pain.
\'How to kill it without hurting its skeleton?\' Aren was in a bit of a dilemma while he continued flying around, and the wolf continued to release those annoying bullets from its tail.
\'Screw it, I will just find a person with healing power and give him some money to heal its skeleton,\' Aren thought as he couldn\'t continue to dodge the bullets and started attacking.
He used 100 points of Aember magic energy into the [Destructo] hammer and activated the hammer\'s skill <Impact Burst> before attacking the wolf.
After he infused Aember magic energy and used the skill, the hammer got covered in Aember magic energy, and all of its patterns pulsed with a red-orange aura.
Seeing the hammer coming towards it, the wolf\'s legs burned with silver flame, and its speed increased drastically as it speedily dashed to a side and dodged the attack.
\'It must be one of its skills,\' Aren thought with surprise, but then he snorted and attacked again as he controlled the hammer and changed its direction.
*Smack!*
[-18,440]
"Hmm? That\'s more than I expected," Aren muttered with surprise at the power of [Destructo]. He had only used it once, and after that, it was broken. In the previous quest, since he didn\'t fight with creatures as strong as this Silverwolf, he didn\'t bother using the hammer as he could one-shot them with his chakram by layering it with multiple powers to buff its damage.
The wolf was half dead by that attack. Its bones were broken, Its skin burned to crisp. Seeing that, Aren waved his hand and threw a seed of the <Demonic Grasp> skill.
The seed flew straight towards the heart of the downed wolf, and before hitting it, a straight demonic vine released from the seed as Aren pierced the wolf\'s heart.
[Silverflame Wolf killed. 4500 Exp gained.]
"That\'s a lot of exp for level 35. However, this wolf rarely appears here, and its grade is high, which might contribute to this high exp from killing it," Aren guessed as he moved towards the dead wolf touched to put it inside his inventory.
He then once again took a look at his [Destructo] hammer\'s information.
[ Destructo ]

-Note: Not upgradable.
"It\'s physical damage, plus I activated its skill <Impact Burst> by consuming 100 Aember mutant magic energy that must have caused very high damage," Aren wanted to calculate how that damage came to be.
The wolf had 3940 physical defenses, so the physical damage of the hammer was 4440. But most of the hammer\'s damage was from its skill <Impact Burst> which dealt magic damage as Aren used 100 Aember magic energy to activate the skill.
"I need to check how much magic damage the hammer can do with 100 Aember magic energy without using skill," Aren muttered as he controlled the damage and infused another 100 Aember magic energy in it, and attacked a large boulder ten meters to his left.
[-7500]
*Booom...*
"Wait, 7500 magic damage?" Aren raised his brows before muttering, "then I guess that wolf had 0 resistance against my mutant magic energy. Yeah, most of the creatures must have 0 resistance against this magic energy since this power could even damage that Blood Hexa Entity despite the high difference between it and me."
Aren then remembered that test and wondered what kind of rewards were inside the other two Mythical gates.
\'Well, no use thinking about it.\'
Shaking his head, Aren focused on the current situation and attacked another boulder. But this time, he activated the hammer\'s skill when infusing it with 100 magic energy.
[-14,500]
*Booom...*
"Perfect," Aren said with a smile.
14,500+4440=18440 damage.
"100 Aember magic energy is 7500 magic damage in the hammer, so 200 Aember magic energy is 15,000. That should be limited if I only attack without using the hammer\'s skill and other buffs on the hammer."
Aren decided to test as he infused 300 Aember magic energy in the hammer and attacked a giant tree.
[-15,000]
*Booom...*
"Indeed. Its normal magic attack is capped at 15,000," Aren muttered before he infused the last 400 Aember magic energy in the hammer, but this time, he used that energy to execute the <Impact Burst> skill and attacked another giant tree.
[-58,000]
*Booom...*
However, Aren got notification after this attack.
[The magic core of the hammer has entered overpressure mode. Unable to use <Impact Burst> for one hour.]
"Eh...? is it because I continuously used its skill?" Aren was startled, but then it made sense. The hammer\'s core would surely take some burden since he continuously used its skill.
[If you infuse 1000 Aember magic energy in the hammer within a five-minute time-frame, It will enter overpressure mode.]
Seeing this notification in his head, Aren was surprised. That just basically answered the question he muttered to himself!
"Who are you?" Aren softly spoke, "do you have a name?"
"Hello? you there?"
"Idiot."
"You are stinky."
Hearing no response, Aren shook his head with a wry smile and hopped on his sword as he flew high in the sky and moved in the direction of Forcrent kingdom\'s capital town.
It was time to submit the quest materials and get the juicy gold coins from the Guildhall!
He also needed a good sleep since he felt mental exhaustion kicking in.
...
After an hour, he reached the capital town and saw that all traces of battle were gone.
\'Did they successfully defend themselves?\' Aren thought as he zoomed in on the top of the Royal Palace and saw that the flag...hadn\'t changed.
That means that they succeeded in driving back the enemies.
"Will I get something once they find out I am back to the kingdom or not?" Aren muttered as he entered through the south gate of the capital town.
As he walked towards the Guildhall, he heard people talking about Cerity. After listening to a bit more talk while walking, he was surprised to know that Cerity actually.....reached the Legendary Lifeform stage.
