Vol. 3 - Chapter 45 - A disgusting screenplay that began to move

"Want me to say it again?"

With a quiet questioning word, the small man with black hair unleashed a right fist that shattered the wooden wall and made a huge hole.

"........"

They had never seen Aku in such a rage until now. They would be left in a sorry excuse if they accidentally blurted out something unnecessary. They could clearly see that coming, so they just waited while shaking, for the purple-haired young man, Munch, to say something.

"Oh? Didn\'t you hear me? The newcomer who left our family before was found dead. Apparently, he was sold off to a slave trader. I knew it was strange when he suddenly wanted to leave the family."

Munch shrugged his shoulders and imposingly remarked such a lie as if it were the truth, which the other members could easily figure out.

"Who did it?"

"Shirabe Sagami from Sagami Co. His real name is Grey Ines Navarro. He\'s a big merchant here in Straheim."

When Aku heard the name, his right eyebrow shot up in surprise.

"That\'s the name of the person you have fallen out with. Is it true?"

"Hey, come on, Aku. Are you suspecting the words of your comrade? I\'m sad. And here I am bringing the slave traders who were involved in the sale of the newcomer."

Munch made a gesture, and his men brought a fat, middle-aged man from the back of the room.

"Listen. I will ask you some questions, so answer them properly. Think before you answer, okay?"

The fat, middle aged man nodded multiple times with a desperate expression.

Munch nodded in satisfaction and removed the gag he was wearing.

"Forgive me! I didn\'t have any other choice!"

"Just answer the questions I asked you!"

"U-understood!"

Munch’s face relaxed in satisfaction as he looked at the fat middle-aged man nodding vigorously. He asked with confidence, "Who sold Badrack?"

"Sa-Sagami Co.," the merchant replied hesitatingly at Munch’s imploring face.

Aku glanced at the green-haired girl with long ears beside him.

"Satori."

"This one\'s not lying," she replied straightforwardly with emotionless eyes.

A moment later, there was a roar and the ground caved in in concentric circles. Perhaps Aku had hit the ground with his right leg.

"Continue."

Munch nodded at Aku\'s words.

"From whom did you buy him?"

"T-that guy," he pointed to a small, bald-headed man in the corner of the room who was also gagged.

"He is one of Sagami Co.’s members that work behind the scene, Gill. He\'s also a member of Lunette’s gang that used to operate a slave trading business, the Revise Family."

Munch removed the gag from the small-built, bald-headed man.

"How did you sell Bardack?"

"Badrack was hired by Sagami Co., but he was too useless. So we had him do some backroom smuggling, but he screwed up and we sold him to a slave trader," the man with crew cut hair muttered faintly.

"Satori," Aku once again asked the green-haired girl with a demonic look on his face.

"It\'s too noisy here, I\'m looking now. Yeah, he isn\'t lying either."

"That settled it."

Just as he was about to leave—

"Wait."

"Leave it for later. I am in a bad mood."

"I know that just by looking at you. Are you going to report it to the guild?"

"That\'s what we, Adventures, do."

"That\'s stupid. That guy donates a lot of money to the guild. The relationship between them is too deep. I don\'t think they will listen to us."

Aku turned to look at Satori.

"It\'s all right. Munch isn\'t lying either."

"Then do you have any good ideas, Munch?"

"I have. Leave everything to me. Bardack is in the funeral parlor here. Go see him."

Munch lifted the corners of his mouth and handed Aku a piece of a note.

"Act on that plan as soon as possible, Munch."

Aku walked out of the room, his hatred so thick that it threatened to burst.

"What are you planning, Munch?" Satori, the green-haired girl who still stayed back, asked Munch with a deadly glare.

"Oh, come on. I\'m not lying to you. You know that better than anyone, don\'t you?"

"........"

For a short while, Satori stared at Munch and said, "Don\'t trouble Aku more than that."

She followed after Aku, conveying only that much.

"Munch-san, how could you deceive Satori?"

After Aku had left, one of the members asked Munch fearfully. It was natural. Lying didn\'t work in front of Satori. This was the fact everyone knew. Munch had told many white lies that were clear to any members who knew the truth, which by no means should be able to cheat Aku and Satori.

"Satori can only read the minds of people instructed by Aku. It\'s easy to deceive her as long as you guide them appropriately like this."

The members looked at each other and then at a skinhead man.

"You know, Munch, I think we should stop," the skinhead man suggested with a strong look in his eyes.

"Whhaat? What are you saying after all this?"

"That\'s right. It\'s too late. If I had reported it to Aku-san or Satori at that time, none of this would have happened to you or me."

"He\'s right, Munch-san," one of the subordinates advised Munch. "Let\'s stop it, seriously. I\'m sure even Munch would—"

Munch’s expression changed to rage when he heard that. He turned to look at the skinhead man and shouted angrily, "Did you tell him?"

"Oh. You\'ve finally become yourself. I\'m glad to see you still have a little bit of your character."

"A bit of my character? What do you mean by that?"

"I see. You aren\'t aware of it..." the skinhead man muttered sadly.

"Like I said, what do you mean by that!?" Munch once again roughened his voice in frustration.

"Anyway, we have gone too far. We have to carry the responsibility for it," the skinhead man said with a serious face as if challenging destiny.

"Are you guys insane!? You can try to do that, but Aku will kill you!!"

Munch glared at all present members.

"If we tell him everything without hiding anything, he will not kill us," the skinhead man said.

"You—"

Munch\'s face was twisted in disgust from the bottom of his heart.

"Come on, Munch, let\'s be honest and tell Aku everything. I\'m sure we can still get back together," the skinhead man begged.

"There\'s no way I can do that," Munch muttered somewhat sadly.

"I see... Then we are going to split here. Now we\'re going to go to Aku and Satori and tell them everything. We will confess all of our sins."

"You idiots..." Munch whispered.

The next moment, a part of his head twisted into a squishy shape.

"What?"

And this became the last thing they remembered for the rest of their lives.

The liquid coming out from Munch pierced the skin of all the members one after another. Then, their eyes turned white and their bodies rattled.

"Gugi! Guhu! Gah!"

And then, they fell apart. The same went for the slave traders, Gill, and all of the members of Breathgarm.

"You have now become like-minded fellows in both body and soul. Let\'s start with you. Go to the guild, confessed just as I told you, and then commit suicide."

Gill staggered out of the house like a sleepwalker.

"You and your soldiers will have to work for me as hard as you can," Munch, with a face devoid of any emotion, gave specific instructions.

In this way, the greatest and most horrible incident in history, the human slime incident, began to unfold under various speculations.
