"Hmm…"

Surrounding me, there were over fifty Cooking Spirits, their shapes changed drastically from one another. The Lesser Cooking Spirits looked like tiny food ingredients mostly. However, there were a handful of larger ones.

The Intermediate Cooking Spirits were a bit larger, resembling animals, but made of dishes or ingredients. There was a small hippo made of pineapple, a turtle made of fried pork cutlet, a medium sized shark made for roasted salmon, and so on.

However, I can\'t imagine having any of them as my permanent soul-bound Cooking Spirit. If anything, I want a smart one that can also cook for me, so I can gain passive EXP and Divine Gourmet Essence!

But perhaps that\'s too much to ask for?

There were no other Spirits than those though, but…

Seeing my new Spells, and the new passive, I got a small idea.

They can only appear when I\'m cooking, right? So when I stop cooking they won\'t appear.

What if…

"Hm? Planta you\'re cooking more? Isn\'t this massive feast enough?!" Ambil asked as he was helping Mark place the food over the large table, my friends were on their way here.

"Don\'t worry, this\'ll be to save for later~" I shrugged. "Now, let\'s see…"

I started cooking some fried rice, something simple and quick, the moment I did, three Spirits appeared behind me, like ghosts made of golden light, they resembled ghostly dragons wearing white-colored chef clothes, and carrying cooking utensils as if they were magic.

"Hmm, that fried rice looks good!"

"Let us help, let us help!"

"And if anybody dares attack you, we help too!"

"Yes, yes, aren\'t you nice?" I giggled, as I suddenly touched all three of them. "Gotcha! {Spirit Synthesis}!"

"GUH?!"

All three Draconic Spirits groaned in surprise, as I combined them together with the rest of the Lesser and Intermediate Cooking Spirits I had around.

FLUOSH!

All three Spirits melded together with the other spirits, and then I threw several Divine Dishes into the fusion, as "materials", which I then further combined using Divine Dish Fusion.

The result wasn\'t stable though, it began to distort and dissipate.

But before that happened…

Wait, he\'s named Gordon? Like that… chef?

"Hahhh… W-What in the world has happened to us- me? Huh, this is certainly strange." The three-headed dragon looked at his own appearance.

He had become at least four-meters-tall, barely fitting inside the house now, his entire body was covered on golden scales, looking less ghostly and transparent than before. His eyes became sharp and golden colored, and each of his heads looked different, the first one was that of a wyvern, the middle one of a drake, and the third one of a small dragon.

The golden horns decorating his head were also all different, but each head had a small white colored chef hat. The rest of their body was also rather interesting, two pairs of long wings, six arms, each one long and muscular, with dexterous fingers, and carrying a cooking utensil, its tail was long like that of a serpent, using it as support instead, as it seemed to lack "back legs".

It looked majestic, its golden aura creating a rainbow halo behind its form.

So this was a High Divine Spirit, aren\'t these just right below a Great Spirit? Insane.

"Sorry about the whole fuss, I wanted a soul-bound Gourmet Spirit, so I decided to use you guys as its ingredient…" I said. "Sorry again if it startled you, but I am sure you\'ll get to live even better lives now."

"S-Soul Bound Spirit?!"

"Us! I can\'t believe it…"

"Amazing! I feel so strong!"

Looks like they didn\'t really mind it, or well, they weren\'t angry about the whole ordeal, which I was glad about. I also noticed they had a Level; they were Level 1. I\'m guessing they can level up and get better at cooking, right?

"S-So you were making a spirit to create a bond with, okay…" Mark nodded. "Well, that was certainly surprising, nice to meet you, err…"

"Gordon is our name it seems." Said the middle head.

"Gordon? Like the chef?!" Mark asked.

"What chef are you two talking about?" Ambil was completely lost.

"Yeah I have no idea how that happened, the name was chosen randomly, I think?" I wondered. "Well, whatever the case, Gordon can you finish cooking the rice? Also can you cook some more stuff?"

"For sure! Now that I am not bound to the effects of the specialization ability, I can cook freely! I think I could even hunt on my own and make delicious dishes!" Laughed the heads in unison. "Leave this job to your humble servant and enjoy your meals, master!"

"Nice! Thanks a lot!"

Looks like I won\'t need to waste a Divine Yggdryad Avatar on cooking from now on, Gordon got that covered up just fine.

Maybe I should try getting the second soul-bound Spirit soon.
