Chapter 119 Information on the Mage Tower, The Chairman Knows!

Ding!

[The Location of the Mage Tower is partially known by the chairman of Golden Star Academy.]

[Once he tells you, your world map will automatically understand and accurately pinpoint it for you.]

And so with that information given, Helping Light flashed in a green light and disappeared, leaving Alex sweating.

This was the worst possible hint he could have ever gotten.

It gave him an idea as to who he needed to see, but it was the goddamned chairman of the academy, meaning one of the leaders of the [Hatred Sect] that would do anything to revive the [Hatred Demon].

As said before, the chairman is a tier-8 powerhouse, meaning that he was at level 1000, simply just too overwhelming.

And would he even reveal the information for free?

No, probably not.

But Alex couldn\'t be so negative, he needed to go by himself, after all the chairman did "act nice" when he was in the academy in his previous life.

"Alice," Alex spoke.

"Yes?"

"Let\'s go back to Star City," he sighed, and she nodded.

...

Inside of Golden Star Academy, Chairman Office

The room was lavishly decorated, an elaborate mix of modern architecture and ancient aesthetics.

Bookshelves lined the walls, filled with texts both mundane and forbidden.

A massive desk carved from black obsidian sat near the center, and behind it stood Chairman Dominic, gazing out a large window that overlooked the academy grounds.

The chairman was a tall man, his figure imposing even in stillness.

His perfectly tailored robes exuded an aura of authority, and his sharp, chiseled face carried a perpetual smirk that hinted at his true nature.

His crimson eyes, faintly glowing, were a dead giveaway of his ties to the [Hatred Sect].

The door to his office creaked open, and a woman entered—Melami, one of the academy\'s respected instructors.

Her warm and cheerful demeanor was gone, replaced by a cold, neutral expression.

Her hollow eyes locked on Dominic as she stepped forward.

"Chairman Dominic," she said in a monotone voice.

Dominic turned, his smirk widening as he took in her appearance, "Ah, Melami. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"I\'ve encountered something strange recently," she began, her tone flat. "I thought it prudent to report it to you."

"Of course," Dominic said, gesturing for her to continue.

"I found the [Vial of Undead Blood]," Melami said, and instantly, the chairman got up from his desk, his smile fading.

His crimson eyes burned brighter.

"Where is it?"

"My [Demon Eyes] detected a young man with it," Melami revealed, talking about Alex.

Once you join the [Hatred Sect], you automatically gain some perks, and one of them is the [Demon Eyes], able to detect demonic items and energy around someone.

Melami had only intervened in Alex\'s intimidation because she detected such an item on him.

In fact, she really enjoyed watching her students fight and injure one another, most times turning a blind eye.

"Why didn\'t you just steal it from him, then?" Dominic glared at Melami.

If it was for the [Hatred Sect], he would even kill all the other teachers part of the sect.

Any action that could cause harm to the [Hatred Demon] and the ritual needed to be found and eliminated as fast as possible.

"It was in his system inventory, even killing him wouldn\'t have done anything," Melami shrugged, and Dominic finally returned to his usual attitude.

"Hm, well, if he was in front of the academy as you say, there might be a chance he enters as a student, and when he does, we\'ll do everything in our power to get that vial."

Even Alex didn\'t realize just how important the [Vial of Undead Blood] was to the [Hatred Sect].

Due to some setbacks, they were now 60% done with the ritual, but still had many items and things to deal with.

The Vial of Undead Blood could increase that percentage by a staggering 10%, as well as grant the [Hatred Demon] the ability to summon minions.

They wanted to bring him back to his full power, and that\'s why every item in their [Demon Summoning List] was needed to be found if they didn\'t want him to lack some of his powers.

"I\'ll report this to the other members," Melami spoke as she prepared to leave the office, "They might be interested in knowing that we found one of the three remaining items."

"Do so, and be quiet about it."

...

Bump!

Alex tried to enter the academy from the main gate, which was completely opened, but he bumped into an invisible wall.

[Only students are allowed to enter.]

"..."

"Is it working?" Alice peeked from behind his shoulders.

"You\'re free to try and see for yourself," he sighed.

Bump!

Alice tried to enter as well, but was met with the same message.

"So we can\'t?" she questioned Alex, who glared at the barrier.

This made things infinitely harder for him.

He would even be willing to complete a task from the chairman if it meant getting the location of that [Mage Tower], but not even being able to meet him was bad.

"How about you just wait around here, him or the teachers must leave at some point," Alice said the most logical thing possible.

But it was unlikely this would happen.

Every teacher used [Teleportation Portals] set up in their dorms to travel from place to place, the meeting with Melami earlier was actually extremely rare.

Though that didn\'t mean it couldn\'t happen again.

And when he thought about it, students of Golden Star Academy weren\'t actually forced to go to school.

If you were recognized as a student of the academy by having incredible results in the entrance examination, you could simply just... not go.

Wouldn\'t that mean Alex would be able to not waste his time going to class, but also have the option to enter whenever he wanted?

Keeping a close eye on the members of the [Hatred Sect] would also be beneficial for the future too.

But for now, Alex didn\'t plan to wait a whole in-game month to participate in the entrance exam and thus be able to talk to the chairman.

Why would he even do that when there was a better solution available for him right now.

"What is it?" Alice pondered.

Alex smiled mischievously, "We cause chaos so that a teacher comes to us." Find adventures at mvl

"?" Alice was confused, until she saw Alex raise his staff forward, his mana flowing around him as he got ready to conjure as spell.

He was actually planning to take the risk of attacking this place just so that one of the teachers was forced to respond to him.

Even if anyone tried to stop him, they were all level 250 max as students, and the guards were all level 200 at best.

All these people would soon enough join the forces of evil, so even if it meant getting his reputation to -1000 again, he would still do it.

Fire Meteor!

He swung his staff, and from the sky emerged a giant meteor, coming down to destroy everything in its radius.
