Chapter 268 Making a Friend! (Part 4)
"Who is that?"
"What an unsightly person. How can someone like him even be allowed to enter this place?"
"Madam, I want you to throw him out of this place!"
"Is there something I can help you with, dear guest?" The madam, owner of the Pavilion, walked out hearing the people shouting and complaining. She looked towards Noah and Wu Han and asked for an explanation.
Even though she liked the money Noah gave her, it was not worth offending the people who were there sitting in the private room. These were the people who mostly had a prominent background.
"I am sorry, I got a little excited talking to my friend here." Wu Han rubbed the back of his head with an embarrassed look on his face. He made sure no one had heard their talk before, but his worries were dumbfounded because Noah used a seal that made sure others did not hear their talk unless someone else yelled out loud.
"If something like this happens again, I would have to ask you to leave." The Madam sighed and decided to let them off with a warning. She did not want to cause any scene inside the pavilion.
"I say, why don\'t you throw them out, madam!" Suddenly, a head peeked out of one of the private rooms on the top floor.
Seeing the face of the young man who was looking down, people who knew him gasped.
"Isn\'t that the young master of the Hong Family? Looks like he is here to see the fairy again."
"Indeed, he had asked her to have a private session with him, but he was rejected every time."
"Shhh! Don\'t say things like this openly."
The people on the lowest floor started to mutter among themselves. Wu Han narrowed his eyes seeing the face of the young master of the Hong Family.
"I cannot do that, young master. This place is for everyone, and only those who violate rules or the place would be banned from this place." Everyone could tell that the Madam did not like the boy.
They knew it was because he would make things difficult for her. After all, she did not allow him to meet the girl he wanted anymore.
Noah did not even bother participating in the talk and turned to look in the direction where he saw a gaze landing on him.
It was from none other than the same girl whom he and Wu Han were talking about. His eyes met her pearl-like gray eyes. Curiosity etched in her eyes scanned Noah before she looked at the madam waiting for her to deal with the matter.
"We shall resume the session. I don\'t spend my money to waste my time here." Everyone turned their attention towards another room on the same floor where a white-haired young man sat in elegance.
He was using a fan to pull the curtain on his room.
"As the Young Master Bai wishes." Madam smiled in gratitude and signaled the girl to continue.
The young master of the Hong Family glared at the young man with the surname Bai who ignored him and let the curtain go.
He could only direct his anger at Noah and his companion seeing that he was ignored by the other guy.
*~Ting~*
The beautiful girl sitting in the middle of the hall took a deep breath and immersed herself in playing the music.
Wu Han sat back down seeing the atmosphere returning back to normal, but he could still sense the killing intent coming from the upper floors.
"So are you going to recruit her for your \'little sect\'?" Noah started teasing him with a grin on his face.
"Yeah yeah, my sect only has a couple of disciples, so what? I am still a sect master!" Wu Han snorted while folding his hands.
"Tell me something."
"Hmm?"
"Do you have proof she has it…?" Wu Han leaned closer to Noah and whispered in his ear. He still could not tell whether she had the immortal physique or not.
"Why are you whispering like this…?" Noah whispered back at him before continuing in a normal voice. "When she goes away to take a break, follow her, you will see it."
"What will I see?" He asked back seriously with an expectation etched on his face. Noah\'s lips twitched seeing him acting so eager but he held himself back enough I seriously said the next line.
"If you see her peeing while standing up, it means she has it; otherwise not."
"Okay, got it-" Although he said that, this time he immediately realized what the boy had just said. Wu Han had to bite his beard to stop himself from shouting and yelling at the boy.
"Be serious. This girl can be misguided if she is left here or worse, she could be taken away by someone." Wu Han gritted his teeth and decided to use the pity card to guilt-trip Noah into telling him that.
"What does that have to do with me? Even if she gets kidnapped in front of me, I would probably just watch." What he did not expect was that Noah was more indifferent to the lives of strangers than he had hoped or expected.
"Come on, don\'t make that teary face. I will tell you." Seeing Wu Han looking down holding his head, Noah acted like he was consoling him.
"Take a look at her head. Do you see the three lotus petals in between her brows? That is her birthmark; everyone with a physique similar to hers has one." Noah pointed at the girl while explaining.
"Then there is the fact that she gets lost in music whenever she plays. Check that even the people who have lecherous looks get engrossed in her songs."
"That just only means that she is good at what she does. I find her music soothing as well." Wu Han argued back without moving his eyes from the girl playing Zither.
"Are you an idiot?"
