Chapter 386

Meanwhile, Zi Han had arrived at the drunken beagle and he finally understood the look those two were giving each other. They set him up for sure.

From the moment one entered the drunken beagle they would notice someone in particular. Not because she was big, tall and strong... nope. She was super short and like a stick of dynamite, she was packing.

She was in the midst of tossing a full-grown man outside the bar. After she was done she dusted her hands and said, “If I see you in here again. I will cut you... I will cut you real good.”

Zi Han, “...”

She was about the height of Zi Han’s waist and she had a mean look on her face. She noticed the three and said, “Xixi what are you staring at? Stop standing there and get inside.”

Zi Han, “...”

He knew he looked like his mother but no one would mistake them. He was a man for heaven’s sake.

“I am not Xixi... I am her son,” he said following behind only for the woman to turn around, climb up a chair and clutch his collar before pulling him close as though to confirm his words.

.....

After staring at him for a very long time her eyes brightened as she pulled him into her embrace almost choking him. “Little Hanifa is all grown up. Oh, how cute. You finally came to see this old lady,” she said and Zi Han who had no idea he had another relative was almost strangled half to death.

“Sec, secretary K... he-help,” he said struggling to breathe but Secretary K pretended like he was deaf.

Three people one shouldn’t offend. Zi Xingxi would be the first followed by Zi Feiji and this person right here was the third. If you offend her she would hold a grudge so bad that it would follow you to your grave.

So yes, he cowered. He liked his life as it was. Zi Han couldn’t believe he had been deserted. “You traitor,” he whispered his eye twitching. Secretary K turned away his heart a little shaken. Just now he got super terrified by that look in Zi Han’s eyes. He had a feeling that in the near future Zi Han’s name would be the first of the top three names.

Lucky for Zi Han this woman didn’t intend to strangle him to death. She let him go and right after that she touched Zi Han’s hair.

“Ha... who cut your hair? It’s... so uneven. What kind of cut is this?” she asked.

Zi Han whose hair had been cut by his mother, “...”

“Let this great aunt fix it for you. How do you feel about micro bangs? I will cut them this short,” she said and Zi Han’s eyes widened. There was no way he was letting this woman touch his hair, well,... any longer than she already had.

“Young sir, this is your great aunt Hyun. She is your grandfather’s distant cousin,” said Secretary K finally introducing the two.

“How come I didn’t know I had a great aunt?” whispered Zi Han only for the woman to scrunch her brows before saying,

“Because your grandfather is jealous of me. He was stuck with the organization while I live a carefree life so yep, very jealous,” she said with a proud look on her face, “he was probably afraid that you want to walk in your great auntie’s steps and come bartend for me.”

Zi Han, “...”

Now he knew why he didn’t know about her. She was delusional. If she was in charge of the Bloodgarde she would run it the same way she was running the drunken beagle with a rough iron fist. She might even start a war.

“Do you want me to teach you how to mix a mean cocktail?” she said but before Zi Han could even respond another person started making trouble.

She got off the chair and stomped over to the drunk bastard yelling obscenities. Raya who had gone to look for a place to seat came back and said, “Senior, I found a place to sit. Follow me.”

Zi Han, who didn’t want to sit subconsciously turned to leave only for him to bump into Secretary K.

He looked up while rubbing his forehead and asked, “How tall are you?”

Secretary K leaned down and whispered, “Young sir, please bear with it. Hang out here for at least thirty minutes then I can help you slip away. Just treat it as though hanging out with a new friend.”

Zi Han grunted before turning around with a very stiff smile. “Sure, let’s um... let’s hang out for a bit,” he said and walked back.

The two sat down together but they seemed so distant. It was obvious one was being pushed into this while the other was genuinely interested to know this icon. Raya didn’t even know this was a blind date or anything of that sort. He was told to get to know Zi Han because the young sir was looking for new friends. He did think it was weird though that they asked him what his preferences were.

Haha, new friend. Wait until his current friend hears about that.

“So how did it feel to assassinate the prime min-,” he asked trying to look for a common subject that could loosen the tense atmosphere between them but Zi Han interrupted him before he could even finish the sentence.

“I am going to the bathroom,” he said as he got up abruptly.

Raya arched his brow before asking, “Wait, before you go... what would you like to drink?”

Zi Han who had just suffered a major hangover replied, “Lemon water with ice... I will be right back.”

After saying that he left for the back of the bar only to bump into his great auntie. “Oh, little Hanifa,” she said only for Zi Han to correct her.

“It’s Han... just Han not Hanifa.”

“Huh? I thought your father wanted you to be named Hanifa. I guess I was wrong. So, how about that haircut?”

Zi Han, “...”

What was this woman’s obsession with cutting hair? His hair was fine plus his mother would kill him if anyone messed with it.

Zi Han bent his back forward and bit his lips his knees pressed together pretending like he was about to pee himself. “Great auntie, I have to use the little boys’ room. Please excuse me but Secretary K’s hair is a hot mess. I think he needs a haircut,” he said before dashing past her. He didn’t feel guilty at all throwing Secretary K under the bus. That would teach him a lesson, a lesson he would never forget.
